✝️ About Jesus

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God who became a real little boy and grew up like you and me. He is also God Himself, who loves us more than we can imagine.
Did Jesus really live on earth?
Yes! He was born about 2,000 years ago in a town called Bethlehem. His friends and family wrote down what He did and said, and the Church has kept those stories safe for us.
Did Jesus have friends?
He had twelve special friends called the Apostles, plus many others. He loved having children near Him too — He even said the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who become like little children.
What did Jesus look like?
The Bible doesn’t tell us. He probably looked quite ordinary — a Jewish carpenter from Nazareth. What people remembered most was the love in His eyes.
Could Jesus do magic?
Not magic — miracles! He healed sick people, walked on water, and once fed thousands of people with just a few loaves of bread. His power came straight from His Father in heaven.
Why did Jesus die on the Cross?
Because He loves us so much. He took all our sadness and our sins onto Himself, so that we could be forgiven and live forever with God. The Cross looks sad, but it is really the greatest sign of love in the universe.
Did Jesus come back to life?
Yes! On Easter Sunday He rose from the dead, alive forever. That is why Christians celebrate Easter — because death did not win.
Where is Jesus now?
He is in heaven with His Father, and He is also right here with us — in the Eucharist at Mass, in our hearts when we pray, and beside us all day long.
Does Jesus know me?
Yes. He knows your name, your favourite colour, every hair on your head, and every thought in your heart. And He loves you exactly as you are.
Will Jesus come back?
Yes — one day, in glory, at the end of time. Until then, He asks us to live in love and trust Him each day.

🌟 About God and the Holy Spirit

Who made everything?
God did. He thought of each thing and loved it into being — the stars, the seas, the mountains, the tiniest ladybird, and you.
Where does God live?
Everywhere! He is in heaven, but He is also right here, holding you up with His love every second.
What is the Trinity?
It is our way of saying that God is one God who lives as three Persons who love each other forever — the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. Three in One, like the three sides of a triangle that make one shape.
Does God really love me?
More than you can imagine. Even before you were born, God knew you and loved you. He smiles every time He thinks of you.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is God’s love living inside us. He helps us to be brave, kind, and wise — and He is the one who makes prayer feel warm in our hearts.
Can God see everything I do?
Yes — but not the way a watcher does. He sees you the way a loving parent looks at their child — with hope, kindness, and joy.
Why can’t I see God?
He is bigger than what our eyes can see. But you can see Him in good people, in beauty, in kindness — and one day in heaven you will see Him face to face.
Does God ever get angry?
God does not get angry the way we sometimes do. He is sad when we hurt ourselves or others, but He never stops loving us — not for one second.
What is God’s favourite thing?
You. (And every person.) Each one of us is His treasure. He has no favourites — He loves each of us with His whole heart.
Did God always exist?
Yes. There was never a time without God. He has no beginning and no end — He just is, and He always will be.

🌹 About Mary and the Saints

Who is Mary?
Mary is the Mother of Jesus, and because Jesus is God, she is the Mother of God. She is also our heavenly Mother — Jesus gave her to us from the Cross.
Why do we pray to Mary?
We don’t worship her — only God is worshipped. We ask her to pray for us, the way you might ask your mum to pray for you. Her prayers are very powerful because she is so close to Jesus.
What is the Rosary?
A beautiful prayer that walks through Jesus’ life with Mary’s help. Each bead is a Hail Mary, like a string of flowers we give to her.
Who are the saints?
They are God’s friends who lived holy lives on earth and now live with Him in heaven. They cheer us on and pray for us all the time.
Can I be a saint?
Yes! Every person is called to be a saint. It just means letting God’s love shine through you in everyday things — being kind, being honest, loving God.
Did Mary ever sin?
No. God kept Mary free from sin from the very first moment of her life so she could be a perfect home for baby Jesus to grow inside.
Where is Mary now?
In heaven, body and soul. When her earthly life ended, she was lifted up to heaven by God. We call this her Assumption.
Why do saints have a circle behind their heads?
That circle is called a halo. Artists draw it to show that God’s light is shining out through the saint.
Can I have a favourite saint?
Yes! Many people have a special saint they love — maybe one who shares their name, or whose story makes their heart feel warm. You can talk to them like a friend.
Do the saints really hear us?
Yes. In God’s love, they are never far away. They are awake in heaven and they pray for us, especially when we ask.

🕊️ About Heaven and When We Die

What happens when we die?
Our body rests, but our soul — the part of us that thinks and loves — goes to be with God. He gathers us up gently, like a parent picking up a sleeping child.
Is heaven real?
Yes — it is the most real place there is. It is where God lives, and where there is no more crying or pain — only love and joy that never ends.
Will I see my grandma again?
If you both love God and love each other, yes — you will be together with Him forever in heaven. Love does not end with death; it just changes for a while.
What is heaven like?
Imagine the happiest moment of your life. Now imagine that happiness lasting forever, and getting deeper and brighter — that is heaven, with God’s love right at the centre.
Will my pet go to heaven?
The Bible doesn’t tell us exactly, but God made every animal and loves them. We can trust that He will make everything new and beautiful at the end of time.
Why do people die?
Because we live in a world that is not the way God first made it. But Jesus came to make a way through death so that we can live forever with God.
Is dying scary?
It can feel scary to think about. But Jesus has already gone through death and come out alive. He promises to walk with us every step — we will not be alone.
Is there a hell?
There is a place for those who refuse God’s love forever. But God never forces anyone — He keeps offering His love right to the very last breath. Hell is being far from love by your own choice.
What is purgatory?
A loving cleaning-up. If we still have rough edges when we die, God gently helps us get ready for heaven — like washing your face before a big party.
Will I have a body in heaven?
One day, yes! At the end of time, our bodies will be raised up and made glorious, just like Jesus’ resurrected body. We will be fully us, forever.

💗 About God’s Love

Does God love me even when I’m bad?
Always. He doesn’t love your bad choices, but He loves YOU — completely, always, forever.
Is anyone too small to be loved by God?
No one. God loves the tiniest baby and the smallest sparrow. Nothing is too little for Him to care about — including you.
Does God love me more when I’m good?
He loves you the same — always all the way. Being good doesn’t earn more love; it just lets His love flow through you to others.
Can I make God stop loving me?
No. God’s love is the one thing in the whole universe that never runs out and never changes — no matter what.
Why does God love me?
Because you are you. He made you on purpose, with care, and He delights in you just as you are.
How can I show God I love Him?
Pray, be kind, be honest, hug your family, take care of others. Every loving thing you do is a hug given back to God.
Why does loving feel hard sometimes?
Because real love is patient and brave. It is not always easy — but it is always worth it. God will help you when it’s hard.
Does God love bad people?
Yes. Even when people choose wrong, God hopes they will come home to Him. He never gives up on anyone.
Can I be loved if I don’t feel loved?
Yes. Sometimes feelings hide it, but God’s love for you is always there — like the sun behind a cloudy sky. The sun is still shining.
What is the most important rule?
Jesus said it in two parts: love God with all your heart, and love your neighbour as yourself. Everything good grows from those two.

🙏 About Prayer

What is prayer?
Prayer is talking with God. It can be out loud, in your heart, with words or with quiet — God hears every kind.
Does God hear me?
Always. Even before you speak, He is already listening. Even your wordless feelings — He understands them all.
What if I don’t know what to say?
Start with “Hi, Jesus” — that is enough. Or just sit quietly with Him. Silence with God is a prayer too.
When should I pray?
Anytime — when you are happy, scared, sad, grateful, sleepy. Many people like to pray in the morning, at meals, and at bedtime.
Why do I have to pray if God already knows?
Because friendship needs talking. Prayer is not to inform God of news — it is to be with Him, like spending time with someone you love.
What if I get distracted?
Don’t worry. Just gently come back, the way you would call a puppy who wandered off. God is patient. He never gets fed up.
Can I pray for my pet or my toys?
Yes! You can ask God to bless anything you love. He cares about everything that matters to you.
What if my prayer doesn’t get answered?
God always answers — sometimes “yes,” sometimes “not yet,” sometimes “I have something better in mind.” His love is always behind every answer.
Are there special prayers I can learn?
Yes — the Our Father (which Jesus Himself taught us), the Hail Mary, the Glory Be, and many more. They are like beautiful gifts the Church has given you.
Can I make up my own prayers?
Of course! God loves to hear your own voice, in your own words. Your simple prayers are precious to Him.

✨ About Faith

What is faith?
Faith is trusting God, even when we cannot see the whole picture. Like trusting your parents to catch you when you jump — only much, much bigger.
Why should I believe in God?
Because He has shown Himself in creation, in the Bible, in Jesus, and in the love of His people. Once you start looking, you will see Him everywhere.
What if I have doubts?
That is normal. Even big saints had doubts sometimes. Doubts are not the opposite of faith — they are part of growing in it.
Why do my friends not believe?
Some people have not heard yet. Some are still searching. The best thing you can do is love them well and pray quietly for them.
Is the Bible really true?
Yes — it is God’s love letter to us. It tells the deep truth about who God is and who we are. Some parts are stories with lessons; some parts are history; all of it is true in the way that matters.
What does “amen” mean?
It means “yes, I believe!” or “so be it!” It is like signing your name at the end of a prayer.
Why do we go to church?
To meet Jesus, to be with His family, to listen to His Word, and to be fed by His own Body in the Eucharist. Church is home.
What if I’m scared?
Tell Jesus. Faith doesn’t mean never being scared — it means knowing He is right there with you in the scary moment.
Can I trust God with hard things?
Yes. He has carried so many people through so much. He will carry you too, even when you can’t see how.
How do I keep my faith strong?
By praying, going to Mass, being kind, reading about Jesus, and remembering each day that God is real and loves you. Faith grows by being lived.

🌈 About Right and Wrong

What is sin?
Sin is when we choose something we know is wrong — being unkind, lying, hurting others. It pushes God’s love away for a moment, but only for a moment, because His love is always waiting to come back.
Does God forgive me?
Yes — every time you ask Him with a real heart. There is nothing too big for God’s mercy. Truly nothing.
What is confession?
A sacrament where we tell our sins to a priest, and Jesus (through the priest) forgives us. It is like a fresh start, a clean page, every time.
Why is it scary to say sorry?
Because we don’t like admitting we hurt someone. But saying sorry is brave, and it makes things right. God gives you courage to do it.
Can I forgive others?
Yes — and you should try, with God’s help. Forgiveness sets you free from carrying the hurt around. It doesn’t mean what they did was okay; it just means you are not letting it weigh you down forever.
Is it okay to be angry?
Anger by itself isn’t a sin — even Jesus felt angry sometimes. What matters is what we do with it. It is good to tell God when you feel angry.
What if someone is mean to me?
Tell a grown-up you trust. Pray for that person. And remember: their meanness does not make you any less loved by God. You are still His treasure.
Why do bad things happen?
Sometimes because of choices people make. Sometimes we don’t know why. But God can bring good even out of bad — He did it on the Cross of Jesus.
What is a guardian angel?
A heavenly friend God gives to each person to watch over them all life long. You can talk to yours — say hello, ask for help, thank them.
Why be good at all?
Not to earn God’s love (you already have it!), but because being good lets God’s love shine through you and fills your heart with peace.

📖 About the Bible and Old Testament

What is the Bible?
A library of 73 books — God’s Word — written by people inspired by the Holy Spirit. It tells us who God is and how much He loves us.
Who is Adam?
The first human person God made. He and Eve walked in friendship with God in a garden called Eden. They are our first ancestors.
Who is Noah?
The man God asked to build a big ark to save his family and many animals from a great flood. Afterwards, God placed a rainbow in the sky as a promise never to flood the whole earth again.
Who is Abraham?
God’s friend who trusted Him completely and left his home to go where God led. He became the father of God’s people. The promise to him led all the way to Jesus.
Who is Moses?
The man God chose to lead His people out of slavery in Egypt. God parted the Red Sea so they could walk through on dry ground. Moses also received the Ten Commandments from God.
What are the Ten Commandments?
Ten loving rules God gave Moses, to help people live in friendship with Him and with each other. They are not to make life hard — they are to make life beautiful.
Who is David?
A shepherd boy who became Israel’s greatest king. He was small and brave, defeated the giant Goliath with a slingshot, and loved to sing songs to God. We still have his songs — they are called the Psalms.
Who is Esther?
A brave queen who saved her people from a wicked plan, by trusting God and being courageous. She is a beautiful example that one person, with God, can change history.
Who is Jonah?
A man who tried to run away from what God asked him to do, and got swallowed by a big fish. He learned that God’s love can find anyone, anywhere — even at the bottom of the sea.
Why are these old stories important?
Because they show us who God is, and they prepared the world for Jesus. Every Old Testament story quietly points to Him.

💭 Hard Questions

Why is there sadness?
Because the world is broken. But God walks with us in our sadness, and Jesus came to wipe away every tear — both now in the small ways, and one day completely in heaven.
Why are some people sick?
Sickness is part of our broken world. God does not send it, but He never leaves a sick person alone — He stays close, especially close. Many saints felt God most when they were ill.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
We do not always know why. But God uses every moment, even the hardest, to grow love. We trust Him with what we can’t understand. One day in heaven, the answers will be clear.
Is the devil real?
Yes — but he is much, much weaker than God. Jesus has already won the big victory on the Cross. We do not need to be afraid of the devil; we just stay close to Jesus.
Why can’t I see God?
Because He is so big — like asking why we can’t pour the whole sea into a teacup. One day, in heaven, we will see Him face to face. For now, we see His love through good people, prayer, and beauty.
What about wars and bad news?
They make God sad too. He calls us to be peacemakers — to be kind, to be brave, to pray for the world. Every prayer for peace really matters.
Why am I different from other kids?
Because God made you uniquely you, on purpose. The world needs your you-ness — your laugh, your gifts, your way of seeing things. Don’t hide it.
Will Jesus come back?
Yes. We do not know when, but He promised. Until then, we live in love and hope, and we get ready by loving Him every day.
What if I’m scared of dying?
It is okay to be scared. Tell Jesus. Death is the door to His arms — but you have a long, beautiful life to live first. Don’t worry too much; God is in charge of all the timing.
Where can I find help when I feel alone?
In prayer, in your family, in the saints, in the Mass — and in your guardian angel, who is right beside you all the time. You are never truly alone, even when it feels that way.

A Question I Want to Ask God

Dear Jesus, sometimes I have questions. Help me to never be afraid to ask. And help me to remember: even when I don’t know the answer, You do — and You love me. Amen.
